This 6 day "on-the-go" program features the highlights of Cuba in an active itinerary which includes several walking tours as well as some early starts and long days. Itinerary is subject to change. If any activities do change, they will be replaced by other people-to-people activities.


Sunday // Arrive in Miami and overnight in Miami

Arrive in Miami and transfer to your hotel. This evening, enjoy a welcome drink with your fellow travelers followed by a briefing about the exciting program that awaits you in Cuba.


DAY 1 // Monday// HAVANA

Bienvenidos! Your Cuba experience begins with an early morning flight to Havana, Cuba's magical capital.

  • We begin with a panoramic tour past the busy Vedado area to the iconic Plaza de la Revolucion and the José Martî Memorial. 
  • Visit the community project “Jovenes emprendedores” at la Moneda Cubana 
  • Continue on a walking tour that reveals beautiful La Habana Vieja (Old Havana), the historic heart of the city, declared a UNSECO World Heritage
  • Lunch
  • Visit the workshop of a local silversmith
  • Meet members of the Old Styler Car Club and ride together in a colorful vintage "Old Styler" car to a fashionable local restaurant for a delectable Welcome Dinner.
  • At dusk, listen to the thunderous cannon blasts coming from across the bay; the traditional "Canonazo Ceremony" has been help every evening since the 17th century!

DAY 2 // Tuesday // HAVANA

  • Old Havana Walking Tour with a local architect
  • Lunch
  • Visit the workshop School Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos in Old Havana
  • Visit to the bustling San Jose Craft Market
  • Dinner

DAY 3 // Wednesday // HAVANA

  • Meet at the hotel with Elena Dias and Tania Caram from FLACSO for a lecture about “La Mujer en Cuba” Cuban
  • Visit the  Cuban Magazine “Mujeres” 
  • Lunch
  • Visit Fuster’s community project
  • Dinner at La Moraleja or similar

DAY 4 // Thursday // HAVANA

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Visit Casa Africa in Old Havana, to learn about Cuba's African roots and enjoy a folkloric dance performance.
  • Visit the Revolution Museum
  • Lunch
  • Visit the Colon cemetery
  • Salsa Class
  • Dinner

  • Learn about Afro Cuban religion Santeria, ceremonies, religious dance and performance onsite
  • Visit Cigar Shop
  • Lunch
  • Visit an urban farm
  • Finca Vigia to visit the Hemingway’s museum
  • Concert by La Camerata Romeo
  • Dinner

DAY 6 // Saturday // DEPART FOR MIAMI

  • Morning flight back to Miami.
  • Connect to your departure flight upon arrival to Miami International Airport
